The job called for illustrating ten concepts of community service
for a United Way campaign. I went to ten locations,
opting to photograph people as I found them. Shooting spontaneously,
using minimul set-up and no direction of the subjects;
I let whatever was happening dictate the shot. At each location,
I looked to illustrate a different theme. This one-volunteerism.
